Roofing supply company claims roofer owes more than $300k

DONALDSONVILLE – A roofing supply company claims a local roofing contractor owes it more than $300,000 on an open account.

Roofing Supply Louisiana, LLC filed suit against A&L Systems, Inc. and Luis Gutierez in the 23rd Judicial District on July 16.

Roofing Supply Louisiana claims A&L opened a credit account with them beginning in 2005. The plaintiff alleges the defendant now owes $316,085.90.

The defendant is accused of failing to pay for materials charged on their credit account with the plaintiff.

Damages in the amount of $316,085.90 plus interest charges of $44,269.92 are requested by the plaintiff.

Roofing Supply Louisiana, LLC is represented by Carroll Devillier of New Orleans-based Breazeale, Sachse & Wilson, LLP.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge Guy Holdridge.

Case no. 104,261.
