GRETNA – A former NFL star is being sued by a car company that he had a sales agreement with for not paying on a judgment rendered in a bankruptcy case against his former car dealerships.
Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation filed suit against Dulymus “Deuce” McAllister and Deuce McAllister Motors, LLC in the 24th Judicial District Court on Nov. 7.
Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation entered into an agreement with McAllister, a former NFL running back with the New Orleans Saints, to provide cars to his string of car dealerships at a wholesale cost on credit. The plaintiff alleges that after McAllister Motors defaulted on its credit allowance in 2008 they decided to quit selling cars to them on credit and demanded payment for the vehicles it had already provided. Shortly after Nissan mandated payment from McAllister Motors the business declared bankruptcy and its assets were liquidated with some of the debt owed to Nissan being relieved.
The defendant is accused of still owing $1.5 million to the plaintiff following the bankruptcy proceedings.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John J. Molaison, Jr.
