Executive assistant sues after boss allegedly took pictures of cleavage

Claiming sexual harassment and constructive discharge, Wendy Solomon filed suit against Tidy Building Services Inc. on Jan. 23 in federal court in New Orleans, claiming her boss took pictures of her cleavage.

Tidy Building Services provides janitorial services for commercial buildings and Solomon worked as an executive assistant to the president, the suit claims.

Solomon claims her boss attempted to touch her in an inappropriate sexually aggressive manner and made sexual remarks or innuendos.

She claims he would call her into his office in order to observe her dress and he would take pictures of her cleavage. According to the lawsuit, he behaved the same way to another woman in the office and to his previous office assistant.

Solomon claims she could not deal with the pervasive sexual harassment or the frequent, unfocused criticism of her work and so she resigned on May 4, 2010.

She is seeking damages for back pay, fringe benefits, emotional distress, attorney fees and court costs.

Solomon is represented by Metairie attorney J. Courtney Wilson. A jury trial is requested.

U.S. District Judge Jay C. Zainey is assigned to the case.
