Next two oil spill MDL hearings rescheduled

U.S. District Judge Carl Barbier issued two orders rescheduling the next two status conferences in the multidistrict litigation (MDL) surrounding the Deepwater Horizon oilrig explosion and Gulf of Mexico oil spill.

The first order, issued on the one-year anniversary of the disaster, reschedule the April 29 status conference from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. on the same day.

The second order, issued the same day, resets the June 3 status conference to Thursday, May 26 at 8:30 a.m.

The order also states, "the Court will tentatively hear oral argument relating to Motions to Dismiss" several pleading bundles.
