Building materials supplier files suit against developer for past due account

NEW ORLEANS – A Mississippi building materials supplier is suing New Orleans developer for a past due credit account.

Natchez Hardware Center filed suit on Feb. 3 in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Revival Development and other related parties.

The plaintiff claims the defendants never paid an invoice. Natchez Hardware Center enacted a lien on two properties owned by the defendants, but the plaintiff claims the liens were removed without repayment of the owed amount.

The plaintiff is seeking an award of the outstanding amount owed at $12,066.81 plus 25 percent interest and attorney's fees.

The plaintiff is being represented by Mark C. Landry of Metairie-based Newman, Mathis, Brady and Spedale.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Piper D. Griffin.
