Lamar advertising suing advertiser for unpaid bill

DONALDSONVILLE – A national billboard advertising chain is suing an advertiser for not paying their account balance.

Lamar Advertising of Louisiana, LLC filed suit against Lightfoor Enterprises, Inc. in the 23rd Judicial District Court on June 19.

Lamar claims they provided advertising for Lightfoot in the amount of $1,864. The plaintiff alleges the defendant never paid for the advertising after it was provided. A demand letter was reportedly sent to Lightfoot requesting the amount allegedly owed.

Damages in the amount of $1,864 plus attorney's fees and costs of legal proceedings are requested.

Lamar Advertising is represented by Michael C. Code of Metairie-based Uddo, Beatman and Code.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Ralph Tureau.
