Adrian F. LaPeyronnie, III

GRETNA – A state agency is suing a commercial boat dealer for allegedly not having the proper license to sell and manufacture recreational products.

Louisiana Motor Vehicle Commission filed suit against F&F Custom Boats, LLC in the 24th Judicial District Court on June 25. The Louisiana Motor Vehicle Commission claims F&F engaged in business as an unlicensed recreational products manufacturer and distributor selling marine products from 2010-2012. The plaintiff seeks to penalize the defendant in the amount of $5,000 per year for operating as an unlicensed operator with $7,500 being suspended if the operator filed applications for years 2010-2012 within 30 days of the judgment plus an additional hearing cost of $300.

Damages in the amount of $15,300 are sought by the plaintiff.

Louisiana Motor Vehicle Commission is represented by Gretna-based attorney Adrian F. LaPeyronnie, III.
