Roofing supply company sues in roofer in 23rd JDC for over $300K

DONALDSONVILLE – A roofing supply company has filed suit against a roofer for breach of contract.

Roofing Supply Group, LLC filed suit against A&L Systems and Luis Guitierrez in the 23rd Judicial District Court on July 26. Roofing Supply Group claims A&L Systems and Guitierrez are past due on a credit account that was opened by the defendants in 2005. The plaintiff alleges the defendants owe them $316,085.90.

The defendant is accused of failing to pay its debts in a timely manner.

Damages are sought in the amount of $316,085.90 plus $44,269.92 and attorney's fees are requested by the plaintiff.

Roofing Supply Group is represented by Carrol Devillier of Baton Rouge-based Breazeale, Sachse & Wilson, LLP.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge Guy Holdridge.
