Staffing agency claims Convention Center contractor owes back wages

NEW ORLEANS – A Delaware-based staffing agency is claiming a local contractor owes them back wages for providing event workers.

Maximum Staffing, LLC filed suit against Aramark Sports and Entertainment Services, LLC in the Orleans Parish Central District Court on July 20. Maximum Staffing claims Aramark contracted them to provide food, beverages, and other temporary services during the years 2009, 2010 and 2011. The plaintiff alleges the defendant agreed to pay them in accordance with existing contracts, but the balance of those services was never paid.

The defendant is accused of not paying the plaintiff in accordance to contract.

Damages in the amount of $58,083.04 are sought by the plaintiff.

Maximum Staffing is represented by Metairie-based attorney Dwan S. Hilferty.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Kern A. Reese.

Case no. 2012-07122.
