GRETNA – An Abita Springs law firm is suing a former client for alleged non-payment of services rendered in a divorce case.
Ladouceur and Ladouceur filed suit against Cynthia Ann Wegmann Thompson in the 24th Judicial District Court on Oct. 18. Ladouceur and Ladouceur claims it provided services to Thompson in connection with her divorce, community property partition and other related matters.
The plaintiff alleges it sent monthly invoices to the defendant for legal services and the costs of litigation. Ladouceur and Ladouceur assert Thompson has not paid an outstanding balance on her account in the amount of $5,447.73.
Ladouceur and Ladouceur is represented by Lindsey M. Ladouceur.
The case has been assigned to Division P Judge Lee V. Faulkner.
