GRETNA – A New Orleans woman is suing a local riverboat casino for injuries she claims to have received when she tripped on a set of stairs.

Laquisha Keller filed suit against Louisiana A-1 Gaming, a Louisiana Partnership in Commendam, Boomtown Belle Casino Westbank and their insurer in the 24th Judicial District Court on Dec. 13. An unspecified amount of damages is sought pain and suffering, mental anguish and medical expenses.

Keller is represented by J. Nelson Mayer III of New Orleans-based Valteau Harris Koenig & Mayer.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Hans J. Liljeberg.
