UPS sued over two hours of unpaid wages

NEW ORLEANS – A former employee of United Parcel Service claims he never received full pay after leaving the company.

Donald Brown filed suit against UPS in the Orleans Parish Central District Court, claiming the defendant withheld two hours of pay and a one week paid vacation.

The defendant is accused of failure to relinquish the petitioner’s final pay within a timely manner.

The plaintiff is seeking his entire final pay, 90 day's penalty wages, costs of the proceedings and reasonable attorney's fees.

John B. Wells of Slidell is representing Brown in court.

This case has been assigned to Division I Judge Piper D. Griffin Chief Judge.

Case no. 2012-11621.
