Charlene Lacoste Labrano filed suit against Rouse's Enterprises LLC, Rouse Land Co. and their insurer in the 24th Judicial District Court on Jan. 8. An unspecified amount of damages is sought for pain and suffering, mental anguish, emotional stress, loss of enjoyment of life, medical expenses, economic loss and permanent disability.

Labrano is represented by James F. Flinn of the New Orleans-based Voorhies Law Firm.

The case has been assigned to Division P Judge Lee V. Faulkner.
