CEO of Voiron Companies allegedly withheld employee wages

NEW ORLEANS – Three former workers are suing a construction corporation and its CEO on allegations they never received full compensation for work performed.

Juan Perdomo, Santos Perdomo and Elmer Roberto filed a lawsuit against Voiron Companies LLC and Guy Voiron in the Orleans Parish Central District Court on Dec. 19.

The plaintiff’s claim that after amicable demand they have not been paid wages allegedly due for work performed on a construction job at the intersection of Elysian Fields and Mendez Street. Juan alleges the defendant owes him a total $5,946.50, Santos claims to be owed $2,850 total and Elmer Roberto is claiming to be owed the full amount of $1,755.

The defendant is accused of failing to properly and timely send the petitioners the full amount of wages due.

Plaintiffs are seeking the wages due, the lesser between ninety day wages as penalty or $5,000 together with legal interest, attorney’s fees and all legal costs.

All plaintiffs are represented by John W. Redmann of the Metairie-based Law Office of John W. Redman LLC.

This case has been assigned to Division L Judge Kern A. Reese.

Case no. 2012-11896.
