Zephyr Homes accused of non-payment

Breach of contract

NEW ORLEANS – A St. Tammany Parish man is suing a local construction company on claims that he has not been paid for labor and materials provided on several residential properties in the greater New Orleans area.

David Walker filed a lawsuit against Zephyr Homes LLC in the Orleans Parish Central District Court on Dec. 26.

Walker claims the defendant’s owe him a total of $28,521.30 for work he did at various properties including installation, replacement, and/or repair of paneling, cabinets, tile, banisters, stairs, windows and doors.

The defendant is accused of failure to submit timely payment to plaintiff for work performed.

The plaintiff is seeking the amount owed plus judicial interest, reasonable attorney's fees and costs of proceedings.

Sean P. Sullivan of the Wolfe Law Group LLC is the attorney for the plaintiff.

This case has been assigned to Division D Judge Lloyd J. Medley.
