Staffing agency sues home health company for more than $22K in laborer costs

GRETNA – A temporary staffing agency is suing a home health agency alleging unpaid debt.

Manpower International Inc. filed suit against Menders LLC in the 24th Judicial District Court on Nov. 4.

Manpower International Inc. alleges it provided temporary labor services for Menders LLC followed by invoices on Nov. 4, 11, 18, 25 and Dec. 2, 2012. The plaintiff asserts that the defendant provided a credit application for the amount owed, but failed to pay it.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

Damages in the amount of $22,292.59 are sought by the plaintiff.

Manpower International Inc. is represented by L. Phillip Canova Jr. of Plaquemine-based Canova & Delahaye.

The case has been assigned to Division Judge P Lee V. Faulkner Jr.

Case no. 732-628.
