Concrete suppliers suing over $29K unpaid load

Breach of contract

GRETNA – Two companies involved in the sales and delivery of concrete are suing over a load of concrete for which they were allegedly never paid.

RLH Investments LLC and Landrieu Concrete & Cement Industries filed suit against Advanced Building Products Inc., ABSS LLC and Alan Hebert in the 24th Judicial District Court on Nov. 4.

RLH Investments LLC and Landrieu Concrete & Cement Industries assert that Hebert ordered a delivery of concrete to a job site in Jefferson Parish in July. However, as of Sept. 5, the plaintiffs allege the defendants still had an open account for the concrete and then sent a request letter for the full amount by certified mail. RLH Investments LLC and Landrieu Concrete & Cement Industries claim they have still not received the amount owed.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

Damages in the amount of $29,079.23 are sought by the plaintiffs.

RLH Investments LLC and Landrieu Concrete & Cement Industries are represented by Bradford H. Walker of Metairie-based Walker Daly LP.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius E. Regan.

Case no. 732-581.
