Shoring company sues for $10K worth of equipment

Breach of contract

NEW ORLEANS – A local shoring company is suing for payment of merchandise.

Davie Shoring Inc. filed suit against Lynette Davis in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Aug. 15.

Davie Shoring Inc. alleges that on July 5, 2012, merchandise was sold and delivered to Davis. But according to the suit, Davis he has allegedly failed to pay the balance due, approximately $10,160, within a 15-day period since the delivery of a letter sent by Davie Shoring stating the amount due. Additionally, the defendant has allegedly failed to respond to any allegations regarding the open account, including a response within 30 days of the delivery of this petition.

The plaintiffs are represented by attorney Anna E. Dow.

The case has been assigned to Div.  L Chief Judge Kern A. Reese.

Case no. 2014-08029.
