Homeowner failed to pay $19K for work, alleges home elevation company

Shoring

GRETNA – A home elevation company is suing a customer it claims failed to fully pay on a contract to lift his home.

Orleans Shoring LLC filed suit against Cleveland Turner in the 24th Judicial District Court on Sept. 3.

Orleans Shoring contends it was contracted by Cleveland Turner to elevate his home located at 2118 La Quinta Via in Harvey. The plaintiff asserts that under the contract it was to provide labor, services, materials and equipment to elevate the home. The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

Damages in the amount of $19,030.94 are sought by the plaintiff.

Orleans Shoring is represented by attorney Jason Wade of Harahan.

The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.

Case no. 741-952.
