GRETNA – A local plastic surgeon and his practice are being sued for allegedly not paying for work completed by an air conditioner repair service.
Certified Air Conditioning Inc. filed suit against Dr. Kamran Khoobehi and Advanced Plastic Surgery Inc. in the 24th Judicial District Court on Dec. 18.
Certified Air Conditioning Inc. claims that in December 2011 it performed diagnostic tests and repair work on an air conditioner at Advanced Plastic Surgery Inc. located at 3901 Veterans Blvd. in Metairie. The plaintiff alleges that the cost of the repair work was $25,785.79. However, Certified Air Conditioning Inc. contends Khoobehi and Advanced Plastic Surgery Inc. have failed to make any payments for their services, the suit says.
The defendant is accused of breach of contract.
Damages i the amount of $25,785.79 is sought by the plaintiff.
Certified Air Conditioning Inc. is represented by Ashley J. Helprin of New Orleans-based Stone Pigman Walther Wittman LLC.
The case has been assigned to Division P Judge Lee V. Faulkner Jr.
