GRETNA – A contractor is suing the owner of two pieces of property claiming it has not been properly paid for renovation work.
LA Maison Renovations LLC filed suit against Truly Noble Services Inc. in the 24th Judicial District Court on Jan. 8.
LA Maison Renovations contends it signed a contract to provide labor, services, materials and equipment to remodel pieces of real estate owned by Truly Noble Services Inc. located at 701 Pecan Drive in Franklin and 130 Renee Street in Napoleonville. The plaintiff asserts it provided three work orders to the defendants for work on the properties in the amounts of $11,661.60, $3,376.91 and $11,753.43. However, LA Maison Renovations claims that Truly Noble Services Inc. has failed to fully pay of the work completed.
The defendant is accused of breach of contract.
Damages in the amount $15,916.85 plus attorneys fees and legal costs are sought by the plaintiff.
