Firm seeks payment for marketing services

Nolamotorsports

NEW ORLEANS — A marketing firm is asking a judge to make the organizers of a recent auto race at NOLA Motorsports Park pay it for the services it's already allegedly performed.

Nussli US LLC filed a complaint on June 29 in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana against Nola Motorsports Host Committee Inc., Nola Motor Club LLC, doing business as NOLA Motorsports Park, Motor Realty LLC, Laney C. Racing LLC, Laney C LLC and Laney Chouest.

The plaintiff, of Indianapolis, cites the defendants with breach of contract, fraud, deceptive trade, conversion, failure to pay a debt and unjust enrichment in relation to allegedly dishonored arrangements for NOLA Motorsports Park's Verizon IndyCar Series in 2014.

Specifically, the lawsuit states, Nussli was never paid for its marketing services.

The plaintiff asks the court to make the defendants pay it the $358,605 it believes it's owed, including filing costs and attorneys' fees.

The plaintiff is represented by Ashley L. Belleau of Montgomery, Barnett LLC in New Orleans.

U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana case number 2:15-cv-02372-NJB-DEK.
