Correction: Broadcaster sues church for $7.3K in fees

GRETNA – A broadcasting company is suing a local church claiming it is owed $7,300. 

LeSEA Broadcasting Corp. filed suit against House of Hope Fellowship Inc. in the 24th Judicial District Court on June 12.

LeSEA Broadcasting Corp. claims it is a non-profit Christian broadcasting organization that was contracted by House of Hope Fellowship Inc. on Oct. 1, 2013 to purchase airtime. LeSEA Broadcasting Corp. asserts it has requested repayment from House of Hope Fellowship Inc., but has not received payment.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

Damages of $7,300 and attorney’s fees are being sought. 

Else Broadcasting Corp. is represented by Thomas J. Lutkewitte of Favret, Demarest, Russo, Lutkewitte & Schaumburg.

The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.

Case no. 750-595.

Correction: An earlier copy of this story stated LeSEA was seeking $7.3 million, rather than $7,300.
