NEW ORLEANS – A crewman of the ship Queen Mary is filing an injury suit against the owners of the ship and the owners of the Macy Lynn after allegedly suffering an injury during a collision.

Binh Vu Pham filed a lawsuit on March 11 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District Court of Louisiana against Offshore Liftboats LLC, Peter and Jasmine LLC and Peter Tran, citing negligence.

Pham asserts that he was employed by defendants Peter Tran and Peter and Jasmine LLC as a crewman on the CFV Queen Mary when, on March 11, 2015, the vessel was involved in a collision with the Macy Lynn, which is owned and operated by defendant Offshore Liftboat. Pham alleges that it was negligence from the agents, servants, employees and operators of both the Queen Mary and Macy Lynn which caused the accident and caused the injury to his shoulder, arm and upper torso. As a result of the alleged collision, Pham claims to have also suffered temporary or permanent loss of wage earning capacity, loss of income, benefits and has incurred medical expenses.

He is now seeking damages along with interests, costs of the suit, and any other rewards deemed proper by the court. He is requesting a jury trial and is represented by Jared Vincent and William S. Vincent Jr. from The Law Office of William S. Vincent Jr. in New Orleans.
