Man alleges Delta Airlines employee injured him intentionally

GRETNA – An Orleans Parish man is seeking damages, claiming that a Delta Airlines employee intentionally caused him injury.

Gregory Becnel filed a suit against Seth Howard Martin Jr. and Delta Airlines Inc. in the 24th Judicial District Court on May 6.

According to the claim, Becnel was working when the incident occurred on May 18, 2015. The suit states that Martin Jr., a Delta Baggage claim employee, intentionally backed into the plaintiff, causing him injury.

The defendant, Delta Airlines, is accused of negligence in failing to monitor Martin Jr., allowing him to injure the plaintiff and for acts of violence committed by the individual.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. He is represented by Tony Dooley of the Dooley Law Office in New Orleans. The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Raymond S. Steib Jr.
