Law money 02

GRETNA – A company is seeking damages, claiming that it was convinced to invest in a poorly managed company that breached fiduciary judgment.

United Professional Co. LLC, Sisung Captial LLC and Lawrence J. Sisung Jr. filed a suit against Ramsey F. Skipper, Real Development LLC, Go-Graphics LLC, Go-Graphics of New Orleans LLC and Go-Graphics of Shreveport LLC in the 24th Judicial District Court on May 24.

According to the claim, Go-Graphics is a business that works with municipalities to post advertisements on bus benches. The suit states that Skipper, the owner and controller of Go-Graphics, convinced the plaintiff to invest a large sum of money into Go-Graphics. The suit further states that the defendant entered into an agreement in which the company would be required to provide benches to the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority, but the defendant allegedly failed to fulfill certain fiduciary duties. Due to the mismanagement, the plaintiff is seeking for Skipper to be removed from the management position in Go-Graphics.

The defendants are accused of breach of fiduciary judgment, gross negligence and failure to exercise reasonable business judgment.

The plaintiffs are seeking repayment of a $100,000 loan and other damages. They are represented by William Peter Connick of Connick & Connick in Metairie and by Bryan C. Reuter of Stanley, Reuter, Ross, Thornon and Alford in New Orleans.
