Tiffin Inn Pancake House Inc. alleges signs were damaged

GRETNA – A Jefferson Parish business is seeking damages following an incident in which its property was allegedly damaged.

Tiffin Inn Pancake House Inc. filed a suit against All State Financial Co. in the 24th Judicial District Court on June 7.

According to the claim, the plaintiff purchased three signs for its company. After signing a lease to move to a new location, the plaintiff paid for the signs to be moved, an action which the defendant allegedly refused. When an agreement was later made, the signs were purportedly moved in May. The suit states that the defendant and/or its agents disassembled the signs and sent them to the plaintiff, but the signs were damaged in the process.

The defendant is accused of negligence in the treatment of the signs and lack of due care.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. It is represented by Kevin O'Bryon of O'Bryon and Schnabel in New Orleans. The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams.
