Discover Bank claims customer failed to make payments on his credit card

GRETNA – Discover Bank is seeking damages, claiming that a customer failed to pay off his credit card.

Discover Bank filed a suit against Corey J. Walsh in the 24th Judicial District Court on June 2.

According to the claim, the defendant acquired a credit card through the plaintiff and agreed to make regular payments for balance accumulated on the card. The suit states that despite his agreement, the defendant failed to make payments for more than $1,700 in charges.

The defendant is accused of failure to pay the balance on the credit card as previously agreed.

The plaintiff is seeking $1,727.15 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin C. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch, Randall C. Roth and Blake J. Guidry of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans. The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John J. Molaison Jr.
