Condominium alleges tenant is indebted for more than $4,000 worth of fees

GRETNA – A condo association is seeking damages for fees not paid by a tenant.

The London Town Condominiums Association Inc. filed a suit against Valeriu F. Rotar in the 24th Judicial District Court on June 22.

According to the claim, the defendant is an owner of one of the property in the plaintiff's association in Metairie and is therefore subject to certain requirements and rules of the plaintiff. The suit states that the defendant is required to pay a fee monthly, but has failed to do so for some period of time. The suit additionally states that the defendant is indebted to the plaintiff for an amount of more than $4,500.

The defendant is accused of failing to make the necessary payments and thus is indebted to the plaintiff for the amount of $4,540.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Clarence E. Favret III, James C. Cronvich and Paul L. Carrier of Favret & Lea LLC in New Orleans. The case has been assigned to Division G Judge E. Adrian Adams
