LAKE CHARLES – A financial servicing firm alleges a vessel did not pay for bunkers and has filed suit for payment.

ING Bank NV filed a complaint on July 8 in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana, Lake Charles Division against M/V Charana Naree alleging that the bulk carrier failed to comply with the OW Bunker Group’s Terms and Conditions.

Bunker & Trading to the defendant in a sum amount of $415,898.41 in October 2014. It is represented by James D. Bercaw, Robert J. Stefani, Len Brignac and Laura E. Avery of King, Krebs & Jurgens PLLC in New Orleans.
