Capital One Bank files suit over allegedly unpaid credit card balance

GRETNA – Capital One Bank is seeking damages for an allegedly open account.

Capital One Bank filed a suit against Anna S. Plaksiy in the 24th Judicial District Court on July 19.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant with the agreement that regular payments would be made on any balance of the card. The suit states that the defendant has thus failed to pay off her balance of more than $1,900.

The defendant is accused of open account through failing to make payments on the credit card.

The plaintiff is seeking $1,968.69 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch, Randall C. Roth and Blake J. Guidry of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John J. Molaison Jr.
