Capital One Bank says customer allegedly maintained an open account on a credit card

GRETNA – Capital One Bank is seeking damages for an allegedly open account on a credit card.

Capital One Bank filed a suit against Billy Conrad in the 24th Judicial District Court on July 19.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant for his use. The suit states that the defendant has maintained a balance of more than $1,500 and has failed to pay it off.

The defendant is accused of open account through failing to pay off the balance of the credit card.

The plaintiff is seeking $1,778.25 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch, Randall C. Roth and Blake J. Guidry of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen C. Grefer.
