Re New Orleans Property Management alleges it was not paid for work done on home

NEW ORLEANS – A residential contractor is seeking damages for alleged breach of contract.

Re New Orleans Property Management LLC filed a suit against Kenyatta Stewart and Hollye Johnson Stewart in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on July 21.

According to the claim, the plaintiff and defendants entered into an agreement on April 16, 2014, in which the defendants hired the plaintiff to complete a certain list of jobs on their property. The suit states that the plaintiff has completed the work outlined, but that the defendants both terminated the agreement and have failed to make full payments to the plaintiff.

The defendants are accused of breach of contract.

The plaintiff is seeking $68,237.43 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Marlin H. Gusman Jr. of the Gusman Law Firm in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Kern A. Reese.
