Deer Park Condominium Owners' Association Inc. alleges condo owner owes thousands in fees

NEW ORLEANS – A condo association alleges an owner neglected to pay its fees for several months.

Deer Park Condominium Owners' Association Inc. filed a suit against M-Lund Enterprises LLC and Lucies Thompson in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Aug. 4.

According to the claim, Thompson purchased a condo in 2013 and is required to pay a monthly fee to the plaintiff, but did not pay from January to September 2015. The suit states that the defendant has still not paid the outstanding balance, and is still obligated for more than $41,000.

The defendants are accused of open account for failing to pay what is legally required of them.

The plaintiff is seeking $41,184 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Christopher J. Davidson and John A.E. Davidson of Davidson & Davidson in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Regina Bartholomew Woods.
