NEW ORLEANS – A bank is seeking damages on an unpaid account.
Compass Bank filed a suit against Stevens Body & Fender Inc. and Richard Stevens in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Aug. 10.
According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a line of credit to the defendant and the defendant allegedly used more than $7,000. The suit states that the defendant has failed to make payments on his balance.
The defendant is accused of open account.
The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Edward F. Bukaty III and Warren W. Wingerer Jr.
The case has been assigned to Division G Judge Robin M. Giarrusso.
