GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages following a car accident with a firetruck.
Angela Lee filed a suit against Mark Joseph Colomb, Jefferson Parish Eastbank Consolidated Fire Department and Imperial Fire and Casualty Co. in the 24th Judicial District Court on Aug. 1.
According to the claim, the plaintiff was a passenger in a car traveling southbound on Bonnabel Boulevard at the intersection with Veterans Boulevard. The suit states that a firetruck that was being operated by Colomb struck the car the plaintiff was in, resulting in injuries.
The defendants are accused of negligence through failing to keep the vehicle under control and ignoring a red light.
The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. She is represented by Jodi Jacobs Aamodt of Jacobs Manuel Kain & Aamodt in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.
