Asper Construction Services accused of defective installation of siding, roof

GRETNA – A homeowner is seeking damages, claiming that the services he received for repairs on his home were not sufficient.

James Clinton filed a suit against Asper Construction Services LLC in the 24th Judicial District Court on Aug. 1.

According to the claim, the plaintiff hired the defendant to install siding and a roof to his Kenner home in September 2014. The suit states that the defendant provided the plaintiff with an estimate of $28,012.32. The suit further states that the roof was installed in an unworkmanlike manner, however, with many defects in the installation.

The defendant is accused of failing to provide the services that were promised.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Kyle S. Sclafani of New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Donald A. Rowan Jr.
