Reverend, others allegedly balked on property sales

NEW ORLEANS – A business has filed suit against a church, its reverend and a third party for allegedly failing to follow through with the sale of three properties.

Munther LLC filed a suit against Christian Light Missionary B.C., Rev. Clarence Neason and Dianne Lepree Williams in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court Aug. 10.

According to the claim, the plaintiff and defendants entered into a contract in which the defendants were the issuers of an act of sale. The suit states that the defendants breached the contract by failing to go through with the sale and failing to deliver specific actions as agreed upon.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Khalid Iqbal.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Paula A. Brown.
