Orleans Parish man accused of not repaying promissory note

NEW ORLEANS – An individual is being sued for alleged breach of contract.

Thomas Fowler Sr. and Richard Sykes filed a suit against Ronald Confident in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court.

According to the claim, the defendant and Foundation Elevation & Repair LLC entered into a promissory note for $30,000. The suit states that the defendant has failed to make payments on the note, and has thus breached the obligations of the agreement. The rights and interest of the note were assigned to the plaintiffs in 2014, the suit states.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

The plaintiffs are seeking the amount due in damages. The plaintiffs are represented by Seth J. Smiley, Bradley Aldrich and Matt Thomas of Wolfe Law Group in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge Clare Jupiter.
