Man alleges dangerous condition in CVS store caused him injuries

NEW ORLEANS – A man claims that he fell in a CVS and was injured.

Charles E. Norman filed a suit against Louisiana CVS Pharmacy LLC and an unknown insurance carrier in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on April 25.

According to the claim, the plaintiff was at the defendant's property, located at 3621 General De Gaulle Drive in New Orleans on April 27, 2015, when the incident occurred. The suit states that the plaintiff was caused to trip and fall due to a dangerous condition that had been left on the premises. He alleges he injured his back, knees, arms and shoulders.

The defendant is accused of negligence through failing to maintain and repair the premises and for failing to warn the customer of the danger that was present.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. He is represented by Scot J. Labourdette of Labourdette Law Firm in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Paulette R. Irons.
