GRETNA – An electric contractor has filed suit against another contractor, seeking damages for an open account of more than $44,000.
Wayne Breaux Electric LLC filed a suit against Royal Contractors LLC in the 24th Judicial District Court on Aug. 4.
According to the claim, the plaintiff and defendant entered into an agreement in which the defendant was fiscally indebted to the plaintiff for an amount of more than $44,000. The suit states that the plaintiff has not yet received payment from the defendant, despite statements being mailed to the defendant.
The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.
The plaintiff is seeking damages in the amount of $44,801.04 in addition to interest, attorneys' fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Wiley J. Beevers, Shayna Beevers Morvant and Steven M. Mauterer.
The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle M. Taylor.
