GRETNA – A woman is seeking damages following alleged complications from dental surgery.
Lolita Cousins filed a suit against Dr. Mitchell A. Pierce Jr. and Smile Solutions DMD in the 24th Judicial District Court on September 9.
According to the claim, the plaintiff was the patient of the defendant and had surgery performed by him in September 2014. As a result of the defendant's failure to deliver the necessary standard of care, the plaintiff was required to make several other appointments for corrective surgery, she alleges.
The defendant is accused of breach of the standard of care and negligence through failing to act in the way he ought to have.
The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. She is represented by John D. Silco.
