Hilton Hotel employee allegedly sexually assaulted a guest

GRETNA – A woman claims that she was sexually assaulted in a Hilton hotel.

The plaintiff filed a suit against Hilton Worldwide Hotels Inc. and John Doe in the 24th Judicial District Court on Sept. 6.

According to the claim, the plaintiff was in the Hilton hotel located at 901 Airline Drive on Sept.11, 2015, when the incident occurred. The suit states that the sprinkler system at the hotel was faulty and caused the plaintiff to become soaked. Following the incident, the plaintiff was caused to suffer from stress due to the fear that she would be electrocuted by being wet. The suit additionally states that the plaintiff was sexually assaulted by an employee of the hotel when he proposed that she stay for a night in the hotel and offered to pay her $1,200.

The defendant is accused of negligence through allowing such an issue to occur with the sprinkler system, failing to properly supervise the defendant and allowing the plaintiff to be put in a dangerous situation.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. She is represented by Errol J. Ware.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry G. Sullivan Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court case number 764553.
