Metairie woman alleges condo was flooded

GRETNA – A woman alleges her condo was flooded because of structural issues and is seeking damages.

Theresa Bolds filed a suit against The Riverside Court Condominium Association Phase II Inc. in the 24th Judicial District Court on Sept. 14.

According to the claim, the plaintiff was the leasee of a condo at 6320 Riverside Drive in Metairie when the incident occurred. The suit states that the plaintiff's condo was flooded during a rainy period of time on April 1 due to structural issues with the property.

The defendant is accused of failure to remedy the defects at the plaintiff's rented property and negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Marc L. Frischhertz of Frischhertz, Poulliard, Frischherz & Impastato of New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott U. Schlegel.
