NEW ORLEANS – The Louisiana Community and Technical College System alleges a former student has an open account.
The Louisiana Community and Technical College System through Delgado Community College filed a suit against Kirk Douroux in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court.
According to the claim, the plaintiff issued services to the defendant that were valued at more than $1,000. The suit states that the defendant is still indebted to the plaintiff for the full amount.
The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.
The plaintiff is seeking $1,184.20 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Scott L. Smith Jr. of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division E Judge Clare Jupiter.
