NEW ORLEANS – Delgado Community College alleges that former student that attended in the Fall 2012 semester has not paid for those charges.
The Louisiana Community and Technical College System through Delgado Community College filed a suit against James Ackerson in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court.
According to the claim, the plaintiff issued services to the defendant that were valued at more than $1,000. The suit states that the defendant has not yet paid off the balance accumulated.
The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.
The plaintiff is seeking $1,085.70 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Scott L. Smith Jr. of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division E Judge Clare Jupiter.
