Funky 544 LLC seeks annulment of lawsuit judgment

NEW ORLEANS – A limited liability company is seeking an annulment of final judgments rendered against it in a lawsuit.

Funky 544 LLC filed a suit against Shakeva Soniat and Serena Tribbit in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Sept. 8.

According to the claim, the complaint Shakeva Soniat and Serena Tribbit v. Funky 544 LLC was filed in Division M by the defendants against the plaintiff for collection actions. The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to provide competent evidence in the suit to support the damages requested. It also alleges the judgments were obtained through fraud and ill practices.

The plaintiff is seeking a restraining order to stop the prosecution of the collection actions against it.

The plaintiff is represented by Albert A. Thibodeaux, Michael G. Bagneris and Davillier Law Group in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Tiffany G. Chase.
