Capital One Bank says man has failed to pay credit card bill

GRETNA – Capital One Bank is seeking more than $2,000 in damages.

Capital One Bank filed a suit against David J. Tornabene in the 24th Judicial District Court on April 28.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant with the understanding and agreement that regular payments would be made on the balance of the credit card. However, the suit states that the defendant has failed to pay back more than $2,270 to the plaintiff.

The defendant is accused of not paying the plaintiff money owed on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking $2,272.63 plus costs. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Benjamin G. Lambert, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch, Randall C. Roth and Blake J. Guidry.

The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen C. Grefer.
