Capital One Bank seeks more than $10,000 from credit-card customer

GRETNA – Capital One Bank is seeking damages for more than $10,000 due to alleged failure to pay on an open account.

The plaintiff filed a suit against Ahmad M. Muaket in the 24th Judicial District Court on April 25.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant, on which the defendant has allegedly made more than $10,000 in charges without paying off the balance.

The plaintiff is seeking $10,927.91 plus costs. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch, Randall C. Roth and Blake J. Guidry.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.
