Discover Bank claims woman owed more than $2,300 on credit card account

GRETNA – Discover Bank claims it is owed more than $2,300 on a credit card account.

The bank filed a suit against Judy E. Gauthreaux in the 24th Judicial District Court on April 4.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit account to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay back more than $2,300 in charges to this account.

The defendant is accused of not paying on an open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $2,364.30 in damages plus costs. The plaintiff is represented by

Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch, Randall C. Roth and Blake J. Guidry.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott U. Schlegel.
